What is an Algae Peel?
Algae Peeling is a gentle exfoliating treatment that accelerates the skin's natural regenerative process. It stimulates blood circulation, replenishes essential vitamins and minerals, and exfoliates old skin cells, leading to a rejuvenated and revitalized complexion. With regular use, Algae Peeling can help:

How it Works
Seaweed contains tiny spicules crystal that penetrates the skin, dissolve the upper layer of the skin, whitening it, reducing acne and lightening dark spots. The seaweed is blended with vitamins and minerals. Once applied onto the skin, the seaweed crystal will gently penetrates the skin for 7-10 mins. Resurfacing your skin with Algae Peel will result in more youthful and healthy-looking skin. It will deeply stimulate collagen and enhance your skin cells. On top of treating acne, it also decreases wrinkles caused by aging and commonly used as a dermabrasion medium.
What to Expect
The seaweed crystal remains inside your epidermal layer for 24-48 hours before dissolving. During that time, your skin will experience a mild redness. First few days after treatment, you will experience some dryness on the treated area. Subsequently, it will peel for 3-5 days. The seaweed crystal is stimulating the existing collagen and new epidermal cells are developing. After the healing process, new, rejuvenated skin will be revealed!
Contraindications
- Wounded skin, open wound
- Shellfish allergy
- Skin lesions, scratches
- Problem with scarring
- Rosacea dermatitis
- Acute infectious dermatological disease
- Herpes
- Eczema, psoriasis
- Botox or hyaluronic acid injection done less than 3 weeks ago
- Peeling done less than 3 weeks ago
- Suspend acids and retinoids 3 weeks before the peel
- Micro-needling session minimum 4 weeks before
- Minimum laser session 6 weeks ago
- Any skin condition that is on the skin
- We do the peeling on one part of the body at a time.
Aftercare
- No makeup until the end of the desquamation
- Repair cream cicaplast or Arnica from Glymed plus 2 times a day
- Use Ph balanced Cleanser
- Do not hesitate to use a thermal water mister
- No sun, UV, for a minimum of 3 weeks
- In case of going out, wear a hat throughout the process of desquamation
- Sunscreen (fragrance-free) index 50 every day
- Do not scrub at least 21 days tender
- Do not tear off the skin during the desquamation
- Do not rub hard on the area being tested
- Always keep your hands clean when touching your face along the desquamation
